How did you pet get its name, and why did you pick that pet/breed?

We picked a golden retriever after I met my clients goldens. It was love at first sight .We got her name from sex and the city, Manolo Blahnik shoes.Have a great evening!!!

My youngest son named Ming Ming after the duckling on wonderpets the cartoon because he was no bigger than a duckling when we got him. I chose a Yorkie because of their size and their unawareness of it. Ming is my first small dog and I love him alot. I also have a big dog Rue, he is a rescue I think he is a setter X his name was Rue when we got him and it fits. We also have 2 cats Alfred Hitchcock aka Alfie, who knows why. Kiara after lion king character because she is small but thinks she is as big as a lion.

My chihuahua got his name just buy his personality. Skipper just fit him!

WHY I CHOSE A CHIHUAHUA
I've always had chihuahuas. They are just my breed. I had a Pekingnese/Pomeranian/Poodle/Chihuahua mix named Lilly Jane, or just Lilly. We called her a Pekipommapoowawa. Then I had a black and tan chihuahua/ dachsund mix named Peanut or Peanutter Butter. She got ran over by the mail lady at 2 yrs old. Then I had a tan chihuahua named Chico or Chiconater who got Parvovirus and died. Now I have a white and cream chihuahua named Skipper who has just stolen my heart. I connect with chihuahuas. But don't get me wrong, I connected with a shih-tzu, too. I have a black and white shih-tzu I named Rebel.

I chose Siberian huskies for the working aspect of the breed!

Mariya got her name from the song "They call the wind Mariya" from the movie paint your wagon!
Jonah's name also came from that song for the part that says They call the fire Joe
Luna is after the moon

I love goldens and have always wanted one, ever since I saw homeward bound. They really are very loyal dogs. I picked the name Emma because that is my favorite name. Actually Emily is, but they are practically the same name.
