What do you think of Westminster Dog Show?

I can't get the remote or watch the Olympics because of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show the next 2 days. Winston and Nelson both have their favorites, wonder why they're Old English Sheepdogs? humm Winston and Nelson call it the Show, it's the Westminster Kennel
Club Dog Show. They take it very seriously, it's in their blood the loyalty, oh ya. Oh the hollering, the shoving, the swearing, yes my
guys are really in to it. Nelson spilled Winstons' Scottish Beer on
purpose and Winston shoved him across the room. I was the referee. I had to get between them several times.
When the Old English Sheepdog lost they went ballist...ic. Throwing
furniture around, the tears fell and they were heartbroken for another
year. I gave each a good tote of rum, some ice cream and I read them
their favorite book about BillyTitlemouse the champion Sheepdog, and
all was right again in the land of the Sheepdogs.

I haver not watched it yet. I have it recorded. I will watch it soon.

I did see a quickie on Utube and thought the GSD's looked terrible. Many of them has weak pasterns and walked like frogs. The frog walk comes from the way their backs are slopped but that is an American GSD not my preference; I like a straight-backed dog.

Cain & Frankie do not let me watch it as they feel that blue eyed huskys are discriminated against. It really is sad though since the one thing that makes huskys unique from most other breeds is their beautiful eyes, blue eyed, bi-eyed or brown yet all show huskys only have brown eyes. I grew up with a dog kennel and have gone to the Westminster Kennel Club dog Show for many years with my father and I have never seen a blue eyed husky win. Besides the fact that blue eyed huskys are discriminated against the Westminster dog show is a benched show which means that even if your dog is judged early in the morning, you can not take them home until the very last judging is complete. I remember as a kid our dogs would be judged early in the morning but we could not leave the city until late at night because we could not take our dogs home. I say they should give a blue eyed husky the credit they deserve and let them win otherwise Cain & farnkie will be banning the show forever.

I may be predjudiced but I felt that6 the Alaskan Malamute , Siberian Husky , and the Samoyed were all more deserving in the working class than the Dobbie . Its just my opinion but I feel the judge took the easy way out withe Dobbie being the " number one dog in the country " It's a beautiful dog but on this night was out shown by those snow dogs. As far as Best in Show . . . That's an awesome Scottie , very pretty girl !
