Aside from being an all-star soccer player, we really haven't gotten much further the basics, including "Relax" and "Rollover". Shaney's not big on Rollover - If there's a bone as a reward, she'll do it in a heartbeat. If not, she'll still do it, but it seems to "take too much time and effort" for her. LOL
As for the soccer part, we just played with her from day one. Now, at 11-months, she pops the ball up in the air with her snout, tosses it back up in the air with her front paws, and bounces it off her chest. We had no clue, until one day at the dog park ... we were all watching in awe and mild confusion ... Is that OUR Shaney?? Haha! I'll have to get some video.
my dog this probably sounds stupid, but instead of shake or high five we taught him pound it and you put your fist out and he'll slap your hand. Kodiak being as fat as he is can roll over. Cujo can shake both paws if you tell him which one to give you, but Angel the Jack can dance in circles and do a move we call walk the baby and she'll hold your hand and pretend to walk a baby carriage its so cute:)
At the minute Megan can do the usual suspects: sit, down, stay.
Her special trick is Hi Five and Low Five and speak on command -- we're currently working on 'Bang' (play dead), Roll Over (she's not keen on that).
We've only had her 5 weeks so it's still early days but I'm sure she's got LOADS more to learn :)
my puppy sleeps more than i do, even if you shout or throw fireworks at him he will never wake up. his being stubborn is his greatest trick and its killing me
Dandy sits, gives paw, speaks on occasion, and jumps up only if a treat is involved.
Sasha can speak, lay down, count while barking she can get to three and she can start at three and go down or you can start at two etc.,come,we are working on roll over but she attacks our hands in order to get her treat.
Wednesday knows go sleepy ni ni....when i say it she will lay down like she is going to bed.
my dog can do an army crawl.. first i get her to lay down then ill hold a treat close to the ground and start walking away and shell follow it but by crawling
I don't know if it is actually a trick or not but Faith knows how to change stations on the radio in the car. She often doesn't care to listen to the NHL network on my satellite radio so she will push one of the buttons to change it to a different station.
