Martha is my first dog, I have wanted a Siberian Husky since I was a Kid and at the end of the Summer of 2009 I finally got one. She needs A LOT of training but I love her despite all her bad ways. Any tips on training a Husky??? PLEASE!!!

Hello Everyone!! We just joined PETtell. Addison, our Belgian, is a dog we have always wanted…and she is everything we expected and so much more. Check out my pet page and our website at Remarkable Dogs.com for information that is just about dogs from everything from training tips, grooming tips, to health problems. Let me know if there is a subject you would like me to write about and I will gladly do an article on the topic.

Lilo is the best dog ever, shes my million dollar dog, cuz when she was always sick as a pup, and as she got older she always found some kinda of mischiff to get into. now she is one year old, and is awesome, she's crazy enough to keep up with me, and patient enough to letme get a great photoshot in of her. i love my dogy!

I've always wanted a Golden Retriever. As a child I looked at pictures of them, and begged for one. I finally got my first dog, but it was a hound who I loved dearly. I finally, after 30 years got not one, but two amazing Goldens. They are more than I ever expected from the breed. They are super smart, easy to train, fantastic with my four children, amazing with the other pets in my home and just truly bring joy, laughter and entertainment to my home. I regulary brag that my Goldens are the best dogs in the world, and to me, they are.

I got Zeus when he was 9 weeks. At almost a year and a half, I have to say he's a 'Dream Pet'. He''s extremely large, Rotty/shepherd mix, but he's so gentle and loving to all (except pigeons, he hates their sense of self importance) He was easy as pie to train and had very little accidents in the house. He's not a barker unless he has good reason to, doesn't pull me on the leash (although, frankly, if he wanted to he could, he outweighs me by at least 10 lbs) All in all, the only regret is that I didn't find him sooner.

I've always wanted a big dog to be sort of my companion in my morning jogs. I couldn't have gotten a better one.
Wash Comment by Wash on May 11, 2009 at 2:11am
I had no idea Wash would be a dream dog but he is! He's small, but he's like terrier sturdy. He has a coat almost as soft as a bunny, a goofy grin, and a ridiculous poofy tail. And he has the most ridiculous underbite that sometimes morphs into an Elvis impersanation. He'll give anyone and anything kisses. He knows about 40-60 words, some in English and Spanish (of course, since we got him in Peru!). He doesn't bark excessively, only once or twice when there's someone at the door. He doesn't destroy ANYTHING that isn't his! He doesn't beg, or whine, and he only protests at the vet's or the groomer's by looking pitiful or staging a sit-in (nope, I'm not holdin that butt up for nothin!) He talks to us, he spins, he boings, he plays like a puppy with other dogs. This dog has a LONG waiting list of people willing to take him should we ever need them to, and we are constantly being told "so this is the dog I've been hearing about!" He even got called "Famoso Wash" by a lot of people in Lima. We couldn't ask for a better, sweeter, more entertaining dog if we tried - I feel for the dog that will have to fill his shoes some day!
