Hi,
My dogs are my children, I have a son and a daughter (human) that are grown but we have always had pets. Some people think that I am crazy that care so much about my pets but they are so loyal and love you regardless! They are like us, we all need that tender loving care. God created them to give us companionship and protection so we should take good care of them in return. They are GODS LIL ANGELS (well, most days anyway!)

I agree. The minute Kianna came into my house she was my best friend. Even though sometimes she gets on my nerves or pee's on the rug, I love her. She's a part of my family now and forever.

Some people just don't understand how we pets are children to our moms and dads. There are neighbors that want my dad to take them places but they don't want me to come along. Last week, I was going somewhere with my dad and a neighbor came across the street to ask him if my dad would take him somewhere. My dad said yes so the guy ran back to his house while we got in the car. The guy came back and got in the car. I was in the back seat. We took off and I got up and put my head between the front seats to say hello to the neighbor. The neighbor didn't like it. My dad pushed my ahead away and told me to be nice but I guess that wasn't enough for the neighbor. He wanted to get out right away.
Last night my dad and I were headed off to work. I am so glad that my dad takes me to work sometimes. A woman that was standing across the street wanted a ride. My dad told her we were going to work. He told her that we could drop her off somewhere along the way. She said okay at first but then she decided she didn't want to share a ride with me. Well, that is too bad. I'm my dad's little girl. He isn't going to put some stranger ahead of me.

We definately belong in this group, Cain & Frankie are our sons not our dogs. Our two human children are 28 & 22 and Cain & Frankie came into our lives at the right time and filled the void of not having the kids around. We treat them like children and they act like children. They both sleep in our room with us and are allowed to sleep on the bed. In fact we encourage them to sleep on our bed. They go with us everywhere and even though we do give them the science diet hard dog food they also eat whatever we eat. Each one is given their own plate with whatever we are eating on it. We try to spend as much time as possible with them. They are very sweet loving huskys who listen to us very well so both are off leash as much as possible (I never put a leash on either one of my human children so I will not put one on them). or maybe I should have said my dad's car ..... but is is also my car...I have my own blankets in the back seat that I use to make my bed in it with ... and he certainly is my dad and I am his little girl

Thanks for the invite. I have one bumper sticker on my car that states My Boxer is smarter than your honor student and another The Perfect Child is a Boxer She is definitely my child.
