Milo is a real gentleman: I just love him because he's lively and always willing to play and have fun, but at the same time he's a loyal friend and, since he's enter in our Family, is like one of us!
He loves playing with our two cats, he's very patient and respectful and I just love him when he makes this pose

he does actually seems a Prince looking for a painter who can take a portrait of him! eheh!

I couldn't ask to find a better Friend!!

Boy I could go on for hours explaining why Cain & Frankie are so special, but I will definately try and cut it short. We have always dreamed of having a husky in our family, but they were too expensive for us. Unfortunately moms (that's me Jodi) life has been turned upside down since 2006 and I have been in and out of the hospital 3 times, have had 4 surgeries due to malignant melonoma and have gone through cancer treatments because I hit stage 3b twice. Dad (that's Bruce) could see how miserable mom was and told mom that if she could find a husky at a reasonable price then she could get one. Mom found Cain for 450.00 but it was a three hour ride to buy him. Dad agreed and on January 13, 2008 Cain was bought into the family (he was 9 weeks old) Even though mom continued to have bad luck (she had two surgeries in April, Poison Oak that sent her to the emergency room in July and a broken right ankle that put her in a cast for 8 1/2 weeks in October) Cain always made her laugh and smile. Cain always seemed to know when mom needed him the most and has always been there. He is so smart and has trained very well. He has made our lives so much better that when we found Frankie here on Long Island for 500.00 we went and bought him home on Dec 20, 2008 (He was 7 weeks old). He is starting to become alot like Cain and has definately made our dream come true. They are two of the best four legged children we have ever had. Everyone is amazed when they meet them and they have definately enriched our lives I can't imagine what our lives would be like without them. Cain has also proved everyone wrong. You can take a husky off leash without them running away.

I See, so it's the Truth when someone says that a Dog could you really help you improving and giving more self confidence! A similar thing happen to me ( Jodi, I'm so sorry to hear that you've to suffer all those pains, but now you can't be more luckier than now with such a family like this!!)

Before Diana we had a Fox Terrier at whom our whole family was really close to: his name was Devil and we found him once abandoned on the raod, we couldn't resist bring him home, and so he became part of us;
Unfortunately a sad day of summer end 2 years ago, Devil got tumor and the medics told us that he had very few to live...we were really sad: we got depression and there was nothing more that could make us feeling happy!! It was like lost an old relative that stayed with you for nearly 11 years;

Luckly one day we decided to stop this gloomy feeling, and though that the right medicine to this cure was another dog, but you know, once you were used to a old friend it is impossible to forget him!
A saturday evening we went to the local dog pound of our town to take a look to the kennel's guests, and there we found the gorgeous eyes of Diana: she was in the same cage with another dog like her (sort of Beagle), but what impressed us were - as written- the eyes: it was like she was tolding us "I can feel pain your heart, same for me: please take me with you and we'll be happy togheter"

So, Diana is with us since, october, the 7th 2007, and since that moment she brought us a BIG Joy of living!!! When we are sad, here that She comes, with her clownie attitude who try to make us laughing for a silly gag, or for example when I'm sleeping she immediately jump on my tummy, and she get asleep too! Man, I really don't know how I can't reach without Diana!
Life's still harder, but with Diana the heavie weights seems becoming soft Ballons that fly in the air!

As someone can imagine, we called her after the famous princess Diana, we really admire her, and this name fits her perfectly: is like having a real royal lady now! She always wants to do what she wants, she pretends eating when we're enjoying the lunch and -sometimes- she's even a bit naughty!
But what can I say? this naughty creature really has a golden heart and helps me and my family a lot, for this reason I think she should deserve a royal crown!!!

Princess Shaney has earned her crown -- simply for putting up with six kids in the house. On Sunday evenings, when there's only 2 kids in the house, she lays down and passes out! All that activity!

She has also earned her crown for her complete loyalty & companionship. Just like others here have posted, Shaney has really been there for us in rough times. She'll sit a little closer (or right on top of us), be a little quieter, give a lot more kisses ...

And, being of the Boxer breed, she also earns the championship crown ... we go a few rounds and although I always win in the end, I end up feeling defeated physically, LOL! She really puts up a good fight!

The lessons she has taught me ... "Doglish" -- one bark means "Warning"; two barks means "Hurry"; three or more barks means "I'm friekin serious, Ma ... let's GO!"

Macy Grace is a princess because she says so! We rescued her from a puppy store (long story, we actually hate those places), she was a sick little girl but we nursed her back to health. Now she's a 14 pound holy terror, chasing our 50 pound boxer puppy all over the place and generally ruling the roost! She's my first schnauzer and has convinced me of the attributes of the breed. We love her dearly and she shows us love every day.

Skipper Chichi is a little prince because the people we got him from had a little 3lb chihuahua (his momma). Shortly after giving birth to eight chihuahuas she died. Two chihuahuas died after that from lack of maternal nutrition, and the woman we bought him from hand raised the other six! They were bottle fed every 2 hours. He is a spoiled rotten little 2 lb 3 oz Prince! As you can see, his little princely stature cannot be messed up by his big brother Rebel constantly trying to "pet" him by stroking him with his paw that's bigger that Skippy's head.

Chihuahuas are a spoiled breed anyway, being dressed to a T all the time!
