Puzzled? Well next time you go out have a look at the couples who are out for a walk – and by that I mean with the walking boots and waterproofs etc. Not people who’ve just gone out for a stroll around the shops.

Funny how I was talking only a few days ago about the amount of exercise you can do being the key to choosing your dog – and how lack of exercise creates problem dogs.
It can even happen with toy breeds who traditionally are thought of as not needing much exercise.

It’s wet here today. ‘Light Rain’ the weather forecast map said, until about 1pm. Well that was right. So I took the dogs for a shorter walk this morning so we could have a longer one this evening when things fine up a bit.
Look , even for me who’s out with the dogs twice a day every day, walking in the rain and wind holds very little attraction!

Don’t you think the brain is an amazing thing? How many times during the day does it do something seemingly random which then somehow has a purpose?
