My puppy is in a dog competition and it is the last and final week. There are nearly 60,000 pets competing and the competition is tough. We cannot win this without friends.

I know about one dog being a guide for another. Tina was blind and mostly deaf but she still managed to roam around the back yard, closely behind her son, Buddy. Buddy wouldn't very far from his mama.... when he was ready to move on, he would sniff her, and she'd follow him where ever he went.
I don't think he ever got over losing his mom. He followed her to Rainbow Bridge just a month after she left us.
