I love goldens and have always wanted one, ever since I saw homeward bound. They really are very loyal dogs. I picked the name Emma because that is my favorite name. Actually Emily is, but they are practically the same name.

I chose Siberian huskies for the working aspect of the breed!
Mariya got her name from the song "They call the wind Mariya" from the movie paint your wagon!

We did a lot of research when deciding which breed of dog to get. A boxer met most of our criteria for the perfect dog. And sure enough, she is the perfect dog. She is the best pet we have ever had.

- Lunchbox: "I'm Fawn colored. My back and the tops of my legs are fawn, and my chest, neck, underbelly, and paws are white. Also, speaking of underbellies, I've got a cute little brown patch right smack-dab in the middle... Kristal calls it "My Island!!" Anyway, my muzzle is also white, with an adorable black nose!! I also wear a black mask (RAWR!! Fear me!!). My ears ARE NOT cropped, but my cute stubbly tail is!! And, I've got the cutest, most floppiest lips!! Their my Sissy's obsession!!"

- Kristal: "Lunchbox is the funniest, most comical dog I've ever met or owned. He's my best friend, and I love coming home to his puppy grin!! His kisses are the best, and he always keeps my feet warm. I wouldn't trade Lunchbox (or as I call him, Fatty) for any other dog or Boxer!! :) He'z ma Fatty-Boy... soz back off!! :p LOL!! I'm very lucky to have him, and we met COMPLETELY by chance!! My step dad, Rob, was at work, and he saw him walking around... We had all wanted a dog, so rob managed to coax him inside, and he became ours!! so, to that cruel owner who amandoned him... LOOK AT MA FATTY NOW!! Also, Lunchbox got his name from the "Jay and silent Bob" movies. Jay would call Bob "Lunchbox," and Rob really liked those movies... Plus, him being a Boxer, it sounded cute, and we all agreed!! That's the story of Lunchbox, my silly, partially deaf Boxer!! LOVEZ CHU FATTY!! =)"

Irene's page said… - Thank You...She is my "heart dog". She is truly such a wonderful girl. She got me interested in the breed and now I volunteer a lot of my time with the rescue group and trying to educate people on the breed.
Your Boxer is beautiful. We have a girl across the street that has 4 of them. I think she has lost her mind. It is hilarious to look out the window and watch them playing with one stick...all of them have their mouths on it running. Or they will be trying to sit on each other. They are very friendly dogs too.
