My Archie and Cleo got so wound up the other day (before the fence thing) chasing each other around the living room that they tipped over a small table and smashed a blown glass vase. Thankfully only the vase suffered -- and me with a glass sliver in my toe. Amazing how two little creatures can wreak such destruction in their wake. When they get playing, they go all out, no holds barred. They especially love running full speed to the end of the hall and sliding to a stop on the hardwood floor.

Archie is seven, so his smile is now permanently gappy. He has a big fat lip, and he felt very sorry for himself the day of the injury. The vet says he'll be able to whistle now. I'm just glad he didn't break his nose!
