My PET's description:

He's most likely a Pomeranian mix. He looks an awful lot like a Tibetan Terrier, but the odds that he is one are really slim seeing how we got him at a shelter in Lima, Peru.

Who are my PET's siblings? (If applicable. Also, you can make pages for them too: you have to use different email addresses, but you cannot use a @pettell.com address!)

Wash may have a few siblings back in Lima, but we're not sure. He also has a few step-siblings: Bitey and Tippy, two Triops, and Jacques, a brine shrimp.

My PET's favorite toy(s) is (are):

He LOVES "Retracto-ball", a tennis ball tied to a rectractable leash. If I walk him with retracto-ball he doesn't even need a leash, he just hangs onto it or jumps after it the whole way.

He also has Octopode, a squeaky stuffed octopus, Rope, about 2 dozen found tennis balls, and any 20-oz bottle he can get his hands on.

My PET's favorite activity (or activities) is (are):

Wash loves to lick things. Anything. Pencil? Lick. Sock? Lick. Bare feet in an elevator? Lick. He is known for the random run-by licking.

What are the names of my owner(s)? What do I think of my owners? (Optional)

Wash loves his people, though he pays more attention to The Man than he does to Mommy.

What I want others to know about my PET and/ or the owner:

Wash is world famous. No seriously. We got him from a shelter in Lima, Peru, where he quickly got the term "Famoso Wash" from a number of people, and people often knew our dog before even meeting him by his sheer fame. We got the same thing in SIngapore where we would often hear "oh this is the dog I've been hearing about!". And now, in Arlington, VA, he has been called "the famous Wash" by several people who have met him.

But of course he's famous! With that goofy grin and silly underbite (which sometimes turns into an Elvis lip), the crazy tail with fur longer than he is tall, and sweet disposition, how could he not be? He plays like a puppy, he'll give anyone (and anything) kisses, and, of course, he spins. He's also got a good range of tricks: among others he has sit, down, bring, por aca (this/that way), whirly (spin), talk, sing, boing, ven/come here, up, vamos, and the names of several of his favorite toys.

He doesn't bark excessively, he guards our house - he'll follow maintenance everywhere to keep tabs on them - he doesn't destroy anything, and he even warms my spot before I come to bed. At least that's what I tell myself!
